Accessibility

Everyone should be able to watch the streams, take part in chat and use the Minecraft server pages, however they use the web. This statement covers the website callumwilletts.co.uk, run by Callum Willetts ("we", "us").

How accessible the site is

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.2) at level AA. The site partly meets them: the gaps we know about are listed below.

You should be able to:

  • use the site with a keyboard alone, and always see where you are on the page
  • use it with a screen reader, which is told what each control is and does, and is told when something changes, such as a sign-in error, a poll starting or the stream going live
  • choose whether your screen reader reads out each new chat message as it arrives, with Announce messages at the top of the chat
  • zoom in to 400% without the page scrolling sideways, and widen the spacing of the text without losing any of it
  • turn on captions for a past broadcast with the Subtitles button in the player, or read what was said as a transcript, from the Transcript link under the player
  • stop the screenshot slideshow on the Minecraft server page, which stays still from the start if you have asked your device for less motion
  • use the site in Windows High Contrast and other forced-colour modes

What isn't accessible yet

  • Captions. The captions on past broadcasts are written automatically from the broadcast's sound, a few hours after it ends, and nobody checks them, so they contain mistakes, above all in names. The live stream doesn't have captions. If the mistakes get in the way, or a broadcast you'd like to follow doesn't have captions yet, tell us which one and which part, and we'll send you a corrected transcript of it.
  • Audio description. Broadcasts don't have audio description.
  • The world map. The live map of the Minecraft world on the Map page is a separate program, BlueMap, shown inside the page, and we can't vouch for how accessible it is.

Twitch, Discord, Instagram and X, which the site links to, are run by others and have their own accessibility statements.

Asking for help, or reporting a problem

If something on the site doesn't work for you, or you need it in another form, tell us. That includes a transcript of a broadcast, a description of something on a page, or help to subscribe or to use your account.

Email callumwilletts@yahoo.com, or ask in The Den, our Discord server.

It helps to say which page you were on, what you were trying to do and, if you're happy to, what you use to browse, such as a screen reader or zoom. We'll reply within 7 days. If we can't fix something straight away, we'll find another way to get you what you need.

How we check

Every change to the site is tested automatically before it goes live: that each control has a name a screen reader can read, that you can always see which one has focus, that text stands out clearly from what is behind it, and that the keyboard behaviours above keep working. The tests cover the public pages, and the sign-in window, subscriptions and chat as a signed-in member sees them. In August 2026 the site was also used throughout with the Windows Narrator screen reader.

Automated tests can't find everything, so what you tell us matters as much as they do.
